Job summary

Alamon, Inc. seeks a DC Power Technician Level 1 for its Network Services department. The role involves learning and assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of DC power systems across various sites. Extensive travel is required, with lodging provided when staying overnight for work.

Candidates should be prepared for outdoor and indoor work, comply with safety protocols, and progressively gain hands-on experience in DC power infrastructure while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

Background check and pre-employment screening
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Willing to travel locally, statewide or regionally
Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs., climb stairs and ladders

Responsibilities

Learn and assist in installation of DC power systems (batteries, rectifiers, inverters, cables)
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on DC power systems
Maintain detailed documentation and service reports
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Participate in training to acquire new skills related to DC Power Systems
Perform other duties as assigned
