Job summary

Alamon, Inc. seeks a DC Power Technician Level 2 for its Network Services department. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and optimizing DC power systems across customer sites nationwide, including data centers and central offices.

The candidate will lead field teams, perform high-risk activities, and install batteries, DC rectification, and related infrastructure, while traveling extensively and coordinating with engineers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment screening including background check and drug test.
• Able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have valid driver's license with clean record in past 5 years.
• Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
• Be available to work nights and weekends as required by project demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field technicians on DC power projects.
• Travel extensively to customer sites for installation, maintenance and hot cuts.
• Read and interpret floor plans, rack drawings and customer work orders.
• Plan and coordinate high-risk activities, map fiber routes and integrate new fibers.
• Install DC power components including rectification, batteries, fuse panels and BDFB/BDCBB.
• Coordinate with customer supervisors, engineers, and other technicians.
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive for reporting.
