Job summary

Alamon, Inc. seeks a DC Power Technician Level 1 for its Network Services department. This role focuses on learning and assisting the installation, maintenance, and repair of DC power systems, with extensive travel required to support DC power infrastructure across projects.

The candidate will gain experience and skills in installation, maintenance, and documentation while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines. Good problem-solving and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• This position requires passing a background check, drug test and motor vehicle records pull.
• Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs and hiking on varied terrain.
• Must have a current valid driver's license and a clean record with no DUI/DWIs in 5 years.
• Must have reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends as project demands.
• Ability to work in enterprise, educational, warehouse, and manufacturing settings.
• Indoor and outdoor work will vary by project scope.
• Exposure to dust, odors, gases, vapors, noise, and wet or slick surfaces.
• Proper use of PPE in compliance with company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist in the installation of DC power systems including batteries, rectifiers, inverters.
• Learn to run cables and connect equipment for proper grounding.
• Learn routine maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting of DC power systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation on work performed, equipment, inventories, and service reports.
• Participate in safety trainings and follow government regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
