Job Summary
The DC Power Technician is offered the opportunity to work outdoors, and on the ground, (no tower work). This key role is responsible for the preparation of hardware and/or equipment before installation, equipment Installation of DC Power, BDFB's, Batteries, Rectifiers and Grounding. They will perform voltage, resistance tests and minor trouble shooting of equipment such as rectifiers, disconnects, power and battery plants and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the site within the specified requirements.

The employee must be able and willing to travel locally to reach customer and network locations or local events and regularly work in outdoor weather conditions. Compliance with all Company safety procedures is a requirement.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time Non-Exempt position. Days and hours of work are Generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, evening or weekend work may be requested at any given time for emergency response. An appropriate level of communication about expected hours of work between the employee and supervisor will be agreed to as part of the discussion process and will be more formal during the trial period. With on call duties as assigned relating to ANS Advanced Network Services user issues after hours', weekends, and holidays.
