Ferguson Chandler is hiring a Pipe Yard Associate to support our outdoor distribution yard. You will safely operate forklifts and yard equipment to move pipe and materials, receive and inspect shipments, and maintain accurate yard inventory to keep parts flowing smoothly.

Ideal candidates are physically capable, familiar with warehouse or yard work, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and committed to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on, outdoor work and have experience in material handling environments, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability.

Shift Schedule

Shift Schedule: 6:00AM Start – Monday–Friday Pay and Benefits Starting Pay: ($22.50) per hour + Potential Monthly Bonus Hourly or Incentive Bonus Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, plus FSA/HSA, Disability, and Life insurance (eligible after 30 days) 401(K) Retirement Savings Plan with company match Paid Time Off, including Vacation, Sick Time, Holidays, Parental Leave, and Wellness Product Discounts, and more

Qualifications

Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands Comfortable working outdoors and staying physically active throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching) Prior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience preferred Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts or similar) preferred Experience with, or readiness to learn, distribution technology such as RF scanners Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements Detail-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to step in where needed

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts other yard powered industrial equipment (PIT) to move, load, and unload pipe and materials Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flow Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment Prioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines and support operational needs Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures for assigned task areas Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free yard environment Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times Participate in safety observations, audits, and team meetings Communicate effectively with team members and support a collaborative work environment

Pay Range

- $15.00 - $24.98 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
