Mattress Firm is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support day-to-day operations of the distribution center, supervise the DC team, and help meet financial objectives. You will help ensure world-class service to internal and external customers and contribute to onboarding new team members.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, enforcing standardized processes, and driving continuous improvement. Requires a HS diploma; Bachelor's preferred; 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient day‑to‑day operations of the distribution center.
• Contribute to meeting overall financial objectives of the distribution center compared to budget.
• Create and foster an environment of trust, open two-way communication, and cohesive team effort.
• Ensure alignment with strategic vision and communicate organizational mission and values to the team.
• Communicate with team members through regular and frequent meetings.
• Hold one‑on‑one meetings with direct reports at least twice a month.
• Ensure adherence to operational processes, policies, and procedures.
