Job summary

The Home Depot in Irwindale, CA is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead a 20–30 hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center. You will oversee operations to ensure safe, accurate handling of merchandise and drive daily performance through coaching and clear goals.

You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates as needed, partner with the Operations Manager, and implement standardized processes to maximize efficiency, inventory accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience with WMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20 to 30 hourly associates and drive productivity, safety and quality.
• Develop and implement team goals; hire, evaluate, develop, and discipline hourly staff.
• Ensure prompt, efficient and accurate handling of merchandise and processes.
• Monitor operations and coaching to improve key metrics and reduce errors.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager and General Manager on process improvements.
