Avolta is seeking a Distribution Center Manager in Elk Grove Village, IL to lead warehouse operations and a team of supervisors and associates. The role drives inventory control, process improvements, and safe, compliant daily activity within the distribution center.

• 5 years or more of previous warehouse management experience
• Proficiency with SAP
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Distribution Center and all warehouse operations in support of the overall business.
• Manage and execute all activities of the warehouse; promote excellence through leadership.
• Reports to the Director of Logistics and oversees day-to-day operations.
• Supervise warehouse associates, supervisors, and assistant managers.
• Monitor inventory levels to control costs and minimize loss.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure accurate orders and inventory.
• Partner with Airport terminal managers to ensure store replenishment and stock needs.
• Develop and train warehouse staff; hire and coach as needed.
• Protect company assets in the warehouse and maintain safe conditions.
• Provide a safe, clean environment for personnel.
• Schedule warehouse operations to meet business needs.
• Assign tasks and supervise warehouse staff.
• Count and report shortages/overages to vendors promptly.
• Process paperwork for merchandise returns and GRs/RTVs.
• Ensure supporting documents are submitted to Finance on time.
• Provide ongoing stock replenishment to sales floor.
• Isolate, sort, and handle damaged/outdated products for credits/returns.
• Coordinate with LP and store operations on cycle counts and inventories.
• Work with Customs and Transportation to comply with US rules for class 9 bonded warehouse.
• Follow OSHA rules and company health and safety policies.
