Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors in Jeffersonville, GA is seeking a DC Operations Manager to oversee daily fulfillment and inventory accuracy across shifts. You bring 7+ years in warehousing/fulfillment, 3+ years in leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on experience with WMS Manhattan, RF inventory, Kronos, AS/400.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent years of related work experience.
• 7+ years of related experience, including at least 3 years of management experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF-managed inventory.
• Strong collaboration skills across shifts, DCs, and business units.
• Ability to make decisions with partial information and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for your assigned shift, ensuring smooth eCommerce fulfillment, supplies management, and service request workflows.
• Drive accuracy, quality, and productivity through consistent processes and strong team leadership.
• Support safety, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts that help the DC operate efficiently.
• Monitor performance metrics and reinforce safe, clean, and organized work environments.
• Lead process observations, address gaps, and collaborate across teams to maintain service levels.
