Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Director of Distribution Center Operations to lead all operational, financial, and people leadership activities within the North Star Distribution Center. Drive performance across safety, service, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy, while ensuring an exceptional employee and customer experience.

You will partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and Quality to execute strategies, manage Budgets, and develop future leaders.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 12+ years in operations, supply chain, logistics, or distribution.
• 5+ years leading managers in a complex operation.
• Strong financial acumen: P&L, budgeting, inventory, costs.
• Experience driving cross-functional partnerships and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead all distribution center operations: receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and facility performance.
• Drive safety, quality, service, productivity, and inventory accuracy metrics.
• Champion continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Lead and develop a team of managers and supervisors; coach and succession plan.
