Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a DC Leader to guide a multi-shift team in a distribution center. You will establish daily production targets and monitor intraday performance to meet goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coach team members, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement across logistics processes. This role demands adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in a multi-shift distribution center.
• Some college is preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 15 to 60 TSC team members.
• Excellent communication skills to develop people at all levels.
• Knowledge of logistics processes, flow, safety and quality requirements.
• Experience with WMS and labor management systems.
• Able to work any shift and additional hours during high volume periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership to drive a motivated, productive workforce while ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Establish daily production goals and monitor intraday performance to achieve them.
• Participate in root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop team members through training and performance reviews.
• Observe activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Plan and allocate resources to accomplish departmental objectives.
• Communicate policies and ensure compliance across the team.
• Coordinate and monitor production standards to improve throughput.
• Assist in training on processes and equipment.
• May lead cross-functional teams to share best practices.
