Job summary

REI is seeking a Director of Operations for the Bedford, PA Distribution Center to lead omni-channel distribution, drive efficiency, and deliver superior customer experiences. You will set strategic direction, manage budget, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while developing a high‑performing, engaged team.

Qualifications

15+ years leading an operational warehouse or distribution center.
Experience with DC startups preferred.
Experience with DC technology, warehouse systems (WMS LMS) and processes.
BS in Logistics, Operations Management, or Engineering preferred.
3+ years of progressive retail store leadership with $7–10MM+ annual sales.
3+ years direct experience managing store operations to meet sales, service and growth goals.
Experience developing and completing financial and business plans for large retail organizations.
Knowledge of multi‑channel retailing and distribution processes.
Strong employee development, involvement, communication, and supervision skills.
