Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a warehouse associate at our Houston distribution center to handle inbound/outbound merchandise with accuracy and efficiency. You will use RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems to process orders and maintain inventory integrity.

The role requires experience in fast-paced warehouses, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to learn new warehouse technologies, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match item numbers and shipping docs.
• Experience in fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with safety procedures and PPE.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems and RF tech.
• Prior experience handling automotive parts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise.
• Match item numbers, quantities, freight bills, and shipping documentation.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations, shelving, and racks.
• Load and unload trailers and route trucks safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning and auditing.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or placement.
• Follow hazardous material handling and safety standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
