Job summary

Petco Braselton DC is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to ensure proper operation and upkeep of rolling stock, machinery, and facility infrastructure. The role requires hands-on repair of forklifts, conveyors, carousels, and related automation, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The position covers interior and exterior maintenance, preventive care, and collaboration with maintenance teams, with potential supervision of junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus a technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance.
Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience with powered industrial equipment.
Experience with PLCs and automation systems in a warehousing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair powered material handling equipment, pick carousels, conveyors and other automation equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance of rolling stock and equipment.
Troubleshoot escalated technical problems and complex mechanical issues.
Perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, framing, roofing, painting and other general building maintenance tasks.
Observe and promote established safety procedures.
