Job summary

Goodwill Industries of San Diego County is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Center supervisor to oversee daily inventory movement and staff within the Distribution Center. You will ensure accurate tracking, staging, and timely product distribution while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of logistics experience. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and email is expected, along with a CA driver's license and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of logistics experience preferred.
• Email, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• Valid CA Driver's License with driving record acceptable to insurance standards; forklift certification required.
• Strong organizational skills with logistics/inventory, warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory movement and staff in the Distribution Center.
• Direct and supervise designated staff and ensure priorities are met.
• Track and disburse inventory; coordinate with dispatch on product movement.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and maintain safe operations.
• Ensure FIFO and proper staging of inventory for storage or use.
• Oversee applying safety guidelines and keep workplace clean and organized.
• Assist in miscellaneous tasks and administrative duties as assigned.
