Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Orange County CA is seeking a Receiving Dock Supervisor to plan and direct the daily dock operations for loading, unloading, sorting and staging donated goods and new merchandise in Tustin, CA. You will coordinate truck schedules, assign personnel to equipment, monitor productivity, and ensure safety and proper material handling.

Required: high school diploma or GED, two years of supervisory experience, forklift certification, and a valid California driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
• Forklift certification required; training provided by Goodwill.
• Valid California driver’s license and DMV record acceptable to insurer.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily dock operations (loading, unloading, sorting, staging).
• Coordinate daily truck schedules and assign personnel to equipment.
• Monitor productivity and conduct daily inventory of supplies and trailers.
• Ensure proper material handling, safety and security of donations.
• Operate forklift as required; maintain orderly and clean yard areas.
