Job summary

Goodwill Industries of San Diego County is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee daily inventory movement and supervise staff. You will ensure accurate tracking, timely distribution, and forklift safety within the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in logistics, and a valid California driver's license with forklift certification or the ability to obtain one. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with MS Word/Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of logistics experience preferred.
• Valid CA Driver's License with driving record acceptable; forklift certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, hands-on direction and supervision of inventory movement within the Distribution Center.
• Maintain FIFO inventory flow to ensure fresh stock and proper rotation.
• Create and update daily Distribution Center priorities checklist; ensure completion.
• Oversee accurate tracking and disbursement of inventory; coordinate with dispatch for product movement.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and maintain safe operations.
• Ensure proper storage locations and readiness of inventory for daily use and next-day processing.
• Maintain site upkeep, stock supplies, and report repairs needed to management.
