Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a DC Logistics Operations Specialist to manage SAP-based shipping, receiving, and order processing within a fast-paced distribution center in Illinois. You will coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Production to ensure accurate postings and on-time shipments.

Ideal candidates will have SAP experience in logistics, strong multitasking ability, and a track record of data integrity.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of hands-on SAP experience focused on shipping, receiving, and logistics workflows.
• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience supporting distribution center or warehouse operations.
• Experience working with carriers and drivers and internal teams.
• APICS/CPIM or similar certification is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Execute daily shipping and receiving; complete all documentation and system postings.
• Run SAP transactions for shipping, receiving, and order management, including allocation and PGI (post goods issue).
• Coordinate schedules, changes, and delivery updates with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Supply Chain, Transportation, and external carriers/drivers.
• Prepare bills of lading and related shipment paperwork.
• Support truck planning, load sequencing, and shipment coordination.
• Respond to inventory inquiries and assist with customer service tickets.
• Assist with cycle counts and reconciliation to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain precise records; uphold data integrity across systems.
• Manage sample shipments and small parcels (e.g., UPS).
• Assist with additional DC tasks as needed.
