Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an organized inventory and logistics associate in Houston to receive and inspect inventory, maintain records, and support shipments. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Ideal candidates have at least a year in logistics, familiarity with inventory systems, and proficiency in Excel. A high school diploma is required, with certifications in logistics a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics or inventory experience.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret safety/operating instructions.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Flexible scheduling including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
• Maintain inventory records and documentation.
• Perform stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents and packaging for outgoing shipments.
• Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill inventory needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Assist in setup and installation of computer server racks.
