Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Loader to join our team in Michigan. You will be responsible for the timely loading and transport of products onto outbound trailers, ensuring accuracy and safety at every step.

In this role you will represent Rural King with a friendly, professional demeanor, provide customer service, follow safety protocols, and participate in trainings to continuously improve performance and knowledge of our processes and systems.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Previous experience with powered industrial equipment
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Latitude systems.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound trailers accurately and safely.
• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire new knowledge and refine existing skills.
• Responsible for loading outbound trailers accurately and safely.
• Responsible for the use of RF scan guns to load and unload trailers with scan gun technology.
• Unloads pallets and cross-dock trailers via powered industrial equipment and allocates freight.
• Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
