Job summary

Rural King is seeking a loader in Mattoon, IL to efficiently load outbound trailers, ensure accuracy, and uphold safety standards. You will work with RF scan guns, operate equipment, and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

In this role you will deliver friendly, professional service to internal and external customers, participate in training, and uphold Rural King's values of People First and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Experience with powered industrial equipment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound trailers safely and accurately.
• Operate RF scan guns to load/unload trailers.
• Unload pallet trailers or cross-dock trailers for other DCs and allocate freight.
• Maintain quality and production KPI goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Follow safety regulations and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Participate in training programs and adopt new skills.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a loader, you will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe loading/transporting of products onto our outbound trailers.

  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

  • Responsible for loading outbound trailers accurately and safely.
  • Responsible for the use of RF scan guns to load and unload trailers with scan gun technology.
  • Unloads any pallet trailers or cross-dock trailers via powered industrial equipment for other DCs and allocating freight to the proper location.
  • Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• • At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Previous experience with powered industrial equipment
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn latitude systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
