Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate Equipment Operator for our Grand Prairie distribution center. The role focuses on safe, accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of inventory, using RF scanners and PIT equipment.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour plus incentives and comprehensive benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, picking, or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand‑up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA and Ferguson safety procedures.
• Accurately pick, sort, stage, store, and transport product.
• Use RF scanners, voice systems, and/or labor management systems daily.
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, quality, and safety following standard operating procedures.
• Communicate with team members and participate in meetings.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and safe, adhering to PPE requirements.
• Support operational needs and comply with company policies.
