Job summary

The Children’s Place in Fort Payne, Alabama is seeking a DC Rec-Sort Associate to prepare items for shipment and ensure compliance with TCP standards. You will inspect labeling, handle pallets, and assist in resolving shipment discrepancies while using RF scanners and conveyors.

Qualifications

• Regularly stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for shipment according to TCP standards.
• Inspect packages for proper labeling and packaging.
• Notify Supervisor of irregularities and assist with shipping discrepancies.
• Receive cases using a conveyor system or RF scanners.
• Input data using RF scanners and palletize cases.
• Route items to departments and disperse merchandise to stores via pick lights.
