Job summary

The Children’s Place distribution center in Fort Payne, AL is seeking a DC Associate to prepare items for shipment, inspect labeling and packaging, and route merchandise to stores. Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms; may sit, stoop or kneel occasionally.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Basic math and reading; ability to write simple correspondence.
• Comfort using RF scanning devices and basic PC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for shipment following TCP standards and inspect labeling/packaging.
• Receive cases via conveyor system and RF scanners; verify against bills/invoices.
• Palletize and input data with RF scanners; route items to departments.
• Disperse merchandise to stores according to pick lights; perform SKU audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; assist drivers and internal teams.
