Job summary

The Children's Place in Fort Payne, Alabama is seeking an ECOM PICK DC Associate to prepare items for shipment in our distribution center. You will follow guided procedures, inspect labels and packaging, and use RF scanners to input data and route merchandise to departments for store distribution.

You will stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds when required, and support drivers and internal teams with accurate picking, packing, and audits to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic reading comprehension and numeracy for packing and labeling tasks.
• Comfort using RF technology for data entry and scanning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for shipment according to TCP standards and department assignment.
• Inspect labeling and packaging for accuracy and quality.
• Notify supervisor of any irregularities and assist in troubleshooting shipping discrepancies.
• Receive cases using RF scanners and conveyor systems; verify against bills of lading and orders.
• Palletize cases and input data with RF scanners; route items to departments.
• Disperse merchandise to stores according to pick lights; perform quantity audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist delivery drivers and internal teams.
