Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems, a Bren-Tronics division, is seeking a Distribution Center Picker/Packer to support shipment preparation in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. You will pick, pack, label, and palletize goods while ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping docs.

Responsibilities include operating forklift, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with the supervisor to prevent shortages. ITAR considerations apply for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Distribution Center Picker/Packer.
• Shipping experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist to pack finished goods into unit package.
• Responsible for picking and packing unit packages into master containers.
• Print and verify label contents accuracy before applying to any container.
• Stack master containers onto pallets, banding and shrink wrapping to finalize pallets.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jacks to move packed materials.
• Maintain and organize inventory of shipping materials and supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Input shipping information into Visual system or other carrier information systems, as required.
• Verify all documentation accurately according to specific shipment requirement.
• Report any damaged/missing products or shipping materials to the supervisor.
