Job summary

Michaels is seeking a DC Facilities Maintenance helper in Lancaster, CA to support non-technical maintenance for the Distribution Center and Facilities Maintenance team. You will perform battery changes, support housekeeping, and assist with equipment upkeep and building tasks.

Responsibilities include operating the sweeper/scrubber, assisting technicians with preventative maintenance on powered equipment, and handling related duties.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of comparable experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 5–60 pounds and operate basic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs battery changes as required.
• Collects trash, cardboard, and shrinkwrap throughout the DC for proper disposal.
• Operates the Sweeper/Scrubber to clean aisles and work areas.
• Assists Facilities Technicians in preventative maintenance and repair of powered equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
