Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a dependable janitor for its Brownsburg distribution center. The role involves cleaning, trash removal, floor scrubbing, and maintaining janitorial equipment while supporting the maintenance team with grounds tasks.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in custodial work, can multitask in a team setting, and may have a high school diploma or GED. Fluency in additional languages is a plus. The position offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in custodial duties in a building, hotel, or distribution center.
• Must be able to multitask and work well in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Basic knowledge of grounds keeping and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash containers, sweep all floor areas of the distribution center.
• Operate floor scrubbing equipment and cardboard baler.
• Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies in all restrooms and break room areas.
• Assist maintenance with grounds keeping and building upkeep.
• Maintain safety standards while operating equipment and report unsafe practices.
