Williams-Sonoma, Inc. invites applications for the Distribution Center Clerk - Exceptions position in Olive Branch, MS. You will research and resolve order exceptions, manage inventory statuses, and coordinate corrective actions across departments to keep orders moving.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year in warehousing, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and a proven record of attendance and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Onsite role in the Olive Branch, MS.
• Must be a self-starter and a team player.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent attendance.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Able to read and match numbers.
• Able to research and resolve issues with minimal direction.
• Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed.
• Focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Review, research, and resolve outs, missing units, mispicks, and other operational exceptions.
• Research order status, inventory availability, and merchandise location to determine next actions.
• Initiate and follow re-pick or corrective action through completion.
• Prioritize aged and time-sensitive customer orders to prevent delays.
• Maintain accurate system statuses and an organized exception work area.
• Partner with Picking, Inventory Control, Techniques, QA, Packing, and other teams to return orders to standard workflow.
• Identify recurring exception trends and elevate barriers to leadership.
