Job summary

Alden Law Group, PLLC in Washington, DC seeks a mid-level to senior associate attorney with 4–8 years of post-law school experience. Applicants must be licensed in DC or eligible to waive in without taking an exam.

The firm represents employees and unions in employment law matters, including discrimination, whistleblowing, and related issues. The position offers a hybrid work environment and competitive compensation with discretionary bonuses.

Qualifications

• Strong research abilities.
• Interest in labor, employment, civil rights or similar focus.

Responsibilities

• Represent employees in employment matters, including discrimination and whistleblowing in court and at administrative agencies (EEOC, MSPB, OSC).
• Handle cases involving employee discipline, investigations, and demand letters.
• Participate in all stages of cases: developing claims, interviewing clients, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, mediations, court appearances and trials.
