Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an innovative IT professional to enhance our distribution center automation. The role focuses on reliability and performance for conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and ASRS within a fast-paced DC environment.

You will work with PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks, and control systems to support material handling technologies and improve productivity and labor costs. Collaboration with operations is essential for delivering value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• PLC/PC program knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting (480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC).
• Control Systems interfaces and program knowledge.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs, servers and industrial controls networking.

Responsibilities

• Support distribution center automation to optimize movement of product.
• Act as first level escalation support for maintenance teams to troubleshoot hardware or controls software.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans for material handling systems.
• Provide site/field reports with progress, issues, and next steps.
