Job summary

CES Consulting LLC is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator based in the Washington, D.C. Metro region. This role focuses on providing detailed and accurate cost estimates for transportation infrastructure construction projects.

The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers to ensure cost estimates align with project requirements. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience and proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS Heavy Bid. Excellent career opportunities and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in a Construction Cost Estimating or similar role.
• Contractor estimating experience in the transportation infrastructure industry is a plus.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other similar credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Conduct value analysis and life cycle costing.
• Identify project-specific risks affecting anticipated costs.

Skills

Knowledge of parametric estimating techniques

Proficiency with cost estimating software

Knowledge of roadways and traffic engineering

Understanding of Contract Documents

Detailed oriented

Education

Degree in engineering or construction management
