Premier AmLaw 50 Firm in Washington, DC is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Antitrust & Competition Practice Group. You will work alongside leading antitrust practitioners on merger reviews, investigations, and complex litigation, with exposure to multinational clients navigating government enforcement.

The successful candidate will advise clients at the intersection of business, regulation, and government action, developing expertise across industries.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 3–4 years of post-JD antitrust and competition law experience.
• Experience handling antitrust litigation matters, merger review matters, and regulatory investigations.
• Experience representing clients before the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional writing, advocacy, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in antitrust litigation matters in federal and state courts.
• Assist with merger clearance reviews and related regulatory filings.
• Advise clients during investigations conducted by the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general.
• Conduct legal research and analysis involving complex competition law issues.
• Draft motions, briefs, agency submissions, white papers, and client memoranda.
• Support internal and government investigations involving antitrust concerns.
• Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support transactional and litigation matters.
• Monitor developments in antitrust enforcement and competition policy.
