Job summary

THIRA Health in Bellevue, WA seeks a licensed or license-eligible therapist to provide DBT-based individual and group therapy for adolescents and adults in partial hospitalization, residential, and intensive outpatient settings.

You will deliver crisis intervention, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and involve families in treatment while maintaining thorough EMR documentation and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master's in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related therapy field.
• Washington provisional license or license-eligible; able to obtain WA licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of therapy experience from a behavioral orientation.
• Crisis management experience and ability to work with diverse ages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various software programs.
• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks (federal and state).
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems in medical practice.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy using a DBT framework for adults and adolescents.
• Deliver crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessment and safety planning.
• Involve family in treatment, coordinate care and therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on treatment planning and discharge.
• Create, update, implement behavioral treatment plans for patients.
• Document in EMR timely: treatment plans, notes, risk assessments, discharge plans.
• Prepare comprehensive treatment summaries with Utilization Review.
• Join THIRA DBT Consultation Team and support the Medical Team.
