The Guidance Center is hiring a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (DBT) for the Adult Behavioral Health Program in Michigan. You will maintain a caseload of clients with substance use and/or mental health needs and provide intake assessments, case documentation, and timely authorizations along with individual and group therapy.

This role requires a MSW (or related field) and Michigan licensure, plus the ability to participate in DBT training and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work or related field from an accredited program with Michigan licensure.
• One year of experience with adults with substance abuse/mental health diagnoses.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain Dialectical Behavioral Therapy certification (DBT).
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication; strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain caseload of clients with primary substance abuse/mental health diagnoses.
• Conduct intake assessments and maintain timely case records; complete authorizations.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy; participate in DBT team activities.
