Full Time - Salary Starts at $51,000 annually plus unlimited monthly incentive opportunities!
The individual(s) who fills this position demonstrates the ability to carry out the following roles and responsibilities:
- Provide individual dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to adults and/or children, including participating as a DBT Group Facilitator.
- Diagnose clients using DSM-5 and other standardized diagnostic tools.
- Assess clients’ immediate functional impairments, including biopsychosocial information, using standardized assessment tools and evaluations.
- Treat clients by guiding them through DBT stages of treatment, crisis planning, and improving quality of life functioning.
- Develop treatment plans using person-centered processes and client input, setting goals and objectives, and adhering to DBT program principles to meet evidence-based standards.
- Make referrals and coordinate care with other professionals, such as primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and case managers, to obtain additional treatment resources.
- Monitor progress towards treatment goals by evaluating and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate family members on their roles in the treatment process, ensuring appropriate consents and releases of information are obtained.
- Maintain accurate patient records by following protocols, updating data, and documenting case history and progress notes.
- Prepare clinical reports by analyzing and summarizing patient data and trends.
- Attend weekly DBT consultation meetings.
- Be available via cell phone for 24/7 DBT phone coaching and backup coverage as needed, following DBT fidelity standards.
- Uphold recipient rights standards.
Required Skills:
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

- Knowledge of evaluating treatment activity, person-centered planning principles, and self-determination principles.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Qualified to be a CMHP with at least 1 year of experience, possessing a master's degree in examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families, and a current Michigan state license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Working telephone.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass all regulatory checks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State licensure such as LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, TLLP, LLP, or LP.
- DBT trained.
- Administrative support.
- Eligible for National Health Services Corps (NHSC) student loan repayment.
