Job summary

HRB in Rahway, New Jersey is seeking an experienced DBA (DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR) specializing in DB2 on mainframe (Z/OS). This on-site role requires 8-10 years of DB2 experience, with responsibility for monitoring, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and large-table design to support high-volume transactions.

Candidates with DB2 administration in a Z/OS environment and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform are encouraged; sponsorship is not available. On-site four days a week.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years expertise in DB2 database administration in a Z/OS environment.
• Monitor and maintain DB2 environment.
• Physical DB2 database design for large tables.
• Backup and recovery.
• Support high volume transactions.
• Performance tuning of DB2.
• Data modeling is a plus.
