Job description

JD:

DB2 Database administration, database sizing, and performance tuning, database cold and hot backups and restore Linux skills, Disaster Recovery, Ansible, DevOps pipeline for DB2, Siebel database schemas, IIDR (IBM Infosphere Data Replication), Confluent Kafka, AWS cloud.

Deep knowledge with Siebel database schemas is required or working knowledge of DB2 used as a backend database with any other enterprise product (Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, SAP, etc. is preferred).

Hands-on knowledge of IIDR (IBM Infosphere Data Replication) and understanding of CDC (Change Data Capture) process is a must. Should be able to understand Kafka and troubleshoot any issues related to Data replication using IIDR.

Basic knowledge of cloud-related technologies and some working knowledge of AWS cloud, and should be able to manage database instances on cloud containers (Kubernetes/EC2, etc.).

Nice to have: knowledge of No SQL database and cloud storages.
