Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Austin, TX. This role emphasizes no nights, no weekends, and no holidays, offering a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and strong clinical autonomy within a wound-care focused practice.

You will employ procedural skills, perform wound debridements, and work across skilled nursing facilities to improve patient outcomes, with training provided for wound-care protocols.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice or eligibility.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; training provided for wound care.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and other procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care teams.
