Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Alexandria, LA, is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, no-nights role offers a true Monday–Friday daytime schedule with options for full-time or part-time work.

You’ll perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, maintain clinical autonomy, and use our custom software to reduce admin time. Competitive salary for full-time employment, with bonuses for performance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• No previous wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to manage patient care through healing.
