Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to motivate the team and uphold guest experiences at our San Diego location. You will open/close the store, coach staff, and ensure safety and quality with limited supervision.

We offer a flexible schedule, PTO after 90 days, and benefits such as 401K with company match and access to Employee Assistance Program resources. Starts around $20–$22 per hour, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred prior to leadership training.
• Ability to work varied hours including early shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct collaboration with General Manager to motivate the team and ensure a great guest experience.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and set morale and tone for the team.
• Help manage quality of food/beverages and support scheduling as needed.
