Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is hiring for a temporary seasonal role in Cedar Falls, IA, starting mid-late October and ending after 60 days of employment. The role focuses on greeting customers, assisting with fitting room activities, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

Training in product knowledge and cross-team collaboration will be provided. Benefits include an ESOP and other comprehensive offerings.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have or be in pursuit of a high school diploma or GED; 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lb, and perform typical retail duties in a retail environment.
• Outdoor/indoor seasonal work with weekday scheduling; willingness to work variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, check customers in and out of rooms, while monitoring merchandise in the fitting room.
• Prepare merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor.
• Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner with sales associates.
• Be knowledgeable to answer questions about location, price, and use of merchandise, and direct customers to the right associate.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment.

Education
