Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is hiring a School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team. You will prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff, while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced school kitchen.

This full-time/non-exempt role offers weekday schedules, training opportunities, and a supportive team focused on healthy meals and a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak/read English to follow recipes and safety rules.
• Positive, team-friendly attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
