Job summary

Cobb County Government is seeking a daytime security and custodial support role. You will accompany vendors in secured areas, assist with event setup, direct patrons, and perform light custodial tasks across county facilities. A valid driver's license and customer service experience are preferred.

Hours are 8 per shift, 3 days a week, with responsibilities including litter pickup, trash removal, and basic equipment maintenance. This is an entry-level opportunity with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Accompany vendors in secured areas of Cobb County facilities.
• Pick up litter and empty trash in or around parking lots and County facilities.
• Direct patrons to local Cobb Government buildings.
• Watch over the judicial campus and assist with event setup and escorting of outside contractors as needed.
• Assist with custodial tasks as requested.
• Replenish parking deck ticket dispensers and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
