Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restroom maintenance, floor care, and reporting repairs to management. Reliable transportation to Kennesaw, GA area and a background check are required; candidates should be detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of custodial or janitorial experience.
• Ability to follow rules, guidelines, and safety procedures consistently.
• Reliable transportation to support in-person work in Kennesaw, GA and Cobb County School's area.
• Ability to work part-time schedule in Cobb Co Schools area.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and equipment is preferred.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and respectful interaction with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to support a hygienic environment.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed.
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks safely and according to instructions.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting repairs, damages, or other issues to management.
• Stock, organize, and restock cleaning supplies to ensure efficient and consistent service.
• Follow all safety protocols and work practices to help maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide porter services as required, including moving furniture and setting up spaces for events.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet established cleanliness standards.
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with team members and facility users as needed.
