Job summary

Stew Leonard is seeking a Daytime Host/Hostess in the Ice Cream Department for a part-time, hourly role. You will greet customers at the service bar, answer questions, assist with product selection, weigh and price items, and maintain hygiene and organization.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register for coffee and ice cream, restocking cases, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting other duties as assigned. Flexible daytime hours on weekdays and weekends are required.

• Safely use tools and equipment used in this department.
• Excellent customer service is required.
• Strong oral communication skills.

Daytime Host/Hostess Ice Cream
Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.25 to $18 depending on qualifications and experience
Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:
Host/Hostesses interact directly with customers at the service bars and provide assistance by answering product questions, offering recommendations, weighing and pricing product ordered by customer at service bar in the Ice Cream Department.

Your day-to-day:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and answering questions
• Selecting, packaging, and pricing products ordered by customers at the service bar
• Clean equipment including ice cream machines
• Coffee and Ice cream only: operate cash register and receive payment in various forms
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations while preparing and serving products.
• Assist in maintaining and restocking cases
• Assist in other duties, as assigned
