Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated housekeeper for the day shift (10am–6pm) to maintain a clean, safe facility across our Indianapolis location. This role supports the Executive Director and ensures daily tasks and checklists are completed to high standards.

Qualifications include no formal education required, at least two years of related experience preferred, and a sobriety requirement if in recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating concerns to the Executive Director
