Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated day-shift housekeeper (10am - 6pm) to maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of our facilities.

You will perform routine custodial duties, restock supplies, and support the Executive Director with daily checklists and reporting on activities. No formal education is required; at least two years of related experience preferred, and a sobriety period may be considered for candidates in recovery.

• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management needed.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
