Job summary

Taher, Inc. in Lehi, Utah is hiring a Grill Cook for Monday through Friday daytime hours (7:00 AM–3:30 PM). Starting pay is $18 per hour with guaranteed hours; no nights or weekends.

This food service management company specializes in K-12 meals and corporate dining, offering a supportive team and opportunities for growth. You will prepare and serve quality meals, follow recipes exactly, and maintain food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in the food industry preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Do simple arithmetic.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Be able to lift 30 Lbs.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times.
• Execute recipes to the letter.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation expectations.
• Follow production sheets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Meet deadlines in completion of daily workload.
• Set up and tear down of workstation.
• Polite and professional communication style.
• Understands FIFO.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Operate meat slicer and knife handling.
• All other duties as requested by leadership.
