Job summary

MDH Network seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will assist with daily routines, participate in community activities, and document progress under supervision.

The role emphasizes reliability, empathy, and effective communication; a High School diploma or GED is required along with a valid California driver’s license for community travel.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant experience with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or in care of medically fragile individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in initial and ongoing assessments; support individuals and their circle of support to ensure positive experiences in community activities.
• Provide basic medical treatment as prescribed and first aid when needed; document reporting accurately and timely.
